Durch diese Wochen Post erhalten Sie wieder, edler Herr, Algen aus zwei Plätzen von New South Wales. Freilich bieten diese Sendungen wohl nichts Bemerkenswerthes dar, aber es sind so wenig Algen von der ausser-tropischen Ost Küste Australiens bekannt, dass Alles derartige von dort specielle Aufmerksamkeit verdient.

By this weekly mail, noble Sir, you will again receive algae from two places in New South Wales. Admittedly these consignments probably offer nothing remarkable, but there are so few algae known from the extra-tropical east coast of Australia that all of such from there deserve special attention.1
