This number is repeated from M to J. Hussey, August 1894 (in this edition as 94-08-00e). There is only one specimen with this number in MEL, recorded as Papaver hybridium, collected 1894.

This number is used twice for Hussey specimens at MEL: Chrysocephalum apiculatum, of which Helichrysum apiculatum is a synonym, dated 1894, and the undated alga Laurencia arbuscula.

A further specimen with the same record number is dated 1895 (see M to J. Hussey, March 1895 (in this edition as 95-03-00h).

See Jeanes (2013) for discussion of relationships in the T. longifolia complex.

Sentence published in Kraehenbuehl (1981a), p. 393, with different punctuation.

Item is a typescript, transcriber unknown, prepared ca. 1977 from an original MS in the State Library of South Australia, Adelaide.

The names used by M match, or a synonym of, the names used in MEL (AVH, accessed 3 August 2024; APC, accessed 17 September 2024). All are dated as 18904. The numbers in this sequence follow on from M to J. Hussey, 27 October 1894. It is dated to November as the earliest likely date that it could have been written.
