To John Duthie   22 January 1895

22/1/951

As I find, dear Mr Duthie, by incidental reference to my Office books, that you did not receive the only Decade of Candolleaceae, as yet published, I send it by this mail.2 Unfortunately in this period of financial difficulties of this Colony the “Candolleaceae” or any other illustrated Series can not be continued. If I can send you any particular Eucalyptus-seed, it will be done with the utmost of pleasure, if within my reach.3

I am greatly admiring your successive fascicles on economic plants.4

Kindly send fresh seeds of any superior pumpkins and melons, when you 5some available and seed of any really good food-plants.6

Ever with friendship

your
