To John Duthie   4 March 1895

4/3/95.

Can you kindly spare me, dear Mr Duthie, an other copy of your new volume on the Field-and Garden-Crops of India?1 That is to say, if you can do so without expenses to yourself. Can I send any particular seeds from here.

We are in eager in2 this colony for seeds of the best kinds of Melons and Pumpkins, also seeds of superior uncommon grasses and fodder herbs.

Always with friendship

your

Ferd von Mueller
