To Baron Sir F. von Mueller
Melbourne
My Lord
By same post I send the parcel of N. W. Victorian plants, which you kindly offered to name for me. All the specimens in this parcel are from my cousin at Wychitella,1 but she says "Some of the flowers are from the mallee"2 — When sending again I will ask her to give the exact locality with each specimen.
My cousin's name is Martha Kentish, a girl about eighteen years of age —
I thank you for your kind letter received today.3
Yesterday Mrs Cole called, and left a note, asking me to enclose it in my next letter to you — (which I send herewith)4 — She desired me to say she forgot to tell you that her daughter is married, and living at Mount Gambier5 —
I will write to Dr Engelhardt6 — and also make an effort to get algs from Kangaroo Island.7
With kind regards
I am yours truly
Jessie. L. Hussey
