Mainly I am writing to you this time, dear Mr Tepper, to ask whether freshly collected seeds (fruits) of Atriplex nummularium are for sale in the seed merchants there and if so at what price per pound.1
The largest part of the new enlarged edition of the Select plants2 is now through the press, so that I will soon be able to take up the special phytographic work again, and so I will then also be able to supply the overdue naming of various collections.
If Atriplex seeds (fruits) are not for sale there, I would like to ask whether you know anyone in a region where Atriplex nummularium (the Old Man Saltbush) occurs, who would make an offer at what price per pound he can send well ripened fruits with well developed seeds.
Always respectfully
Ferd. von Mueller
Greetings to Dr Brown3 and tell him that I would really like to have seen him once again in life.
