Stets Sie ehrend,
Der Ihre
Ferd. von Mueller.

This time, dear Mr Tepper, I cannot yet answer your kind last letter, because after the work for the 9th edition of the Select plants1 very much still remains in arrears here. However, now for cultivation trials in quantity I am asked whether I can supply well ripened seeds (thus fruits) of Atriplex semibaccatum at a reasonable price.2 When I was in South Australia this plant grew reasonably commonly on the Adelaide Plains, and so it may be now still, so that under your supervision perhaps a needy person could collect the fruits. Should you be able to arrange this, then perhaps a test might be made, so that the price per pound (dry) could be established.
Always respectfully
Your
Ferd. von Mueller.
Atriplex semibaccatum
