Australien.

Best thanks, dear Mr Tepper, for the kind inquiry on account of the album of photographs of Sir Thos. Elder's expedition. Also express my best thanks to Professor Dr Watson for his kindness.1
I am still always in arrears with my botanical work, since I brought out the 9th edition of the Select plants,2 and since I had the extra work for annual examinations of the technical schools and other institutions as extra duty. I now have something else to produce for the report prepared by Professor Tate himself in reference to his plants of the Horn Expedition.3 I will then come to a number of collections of dry plants, also do justice to your son in Western Australia.4
Amicably your
Ferd. von Mueller.
It doesn't matter much whether I still see Dr Brown5 in life. However I am still in contact even with Eyre!6 I desire nothing from Dr Brown, unless a small contribution for an expedition to north-west Australia.7
Archibald Watson. M to O. Tepper, 7 January 1896, asked Tepper to try to obtain a copy of the album of photographs from the Elder Exploring expedition; see notes to that letter.
