Hochverehrter Herr Baron,

Beifolgend gestatte ich mir, Ihnen Abschrift dessen zu übersenden, was ich seiner Zeit über Boronia floribunda Sieb. gesagt habe und ein Fragment der Originalpflanze beizulegen. Hoffentlich finden Sie meine Meinung bestätigt.

Zu meinem grössten Bedauern kann ich Ihnen über die Veröffentlichung der Uebersetzung Ihres Werkes von Seiten meines Schwagers immer noch nicht mittheilen. Er hat mir darüber nie eine Zeile geschrieben, niemals auf meine Frage geantwortet. Da er seit einem Jahre wieder tüchtig arbeitet, so steht zu hoffen, dass er sich auch dieser übernommenen Verpflichtung erledigt.

Da unser Notizblatt auf Kosten des Gartens hergestellt wird, so können wir mit demselben tauschen. Lohnt es sich für uns, mit dem australischen Chemist and Druggist, in dem Sie so viele neue Arten beschrieben haben, zu tauschen? und welches ist seine Adresse? Viele Ihrer Werke erhielten wir, wenn ich mich recht erinnere, durch die Melbourner Nationalbibliothek. Müssen wir nicht auch das Notizblatt dahin schicken und unter welcher Adresse?

Allow me to send you a copy of what I said at the time about Boronia floribunda Sieb. and include a fragment of the original plant. It is to be hoped you will find my opinion confirmed.

To my greatest regret I am still not able to inform you about the publication of the translation of your work on the part of my brother-in-law.2 He has never written me a line about it. Because he is working hard again for a year, it is to be hoped that he will also finish this assumed commitment.

Since our Notizblatt 3 is produced at the expense of the Garden, we can exchange with it. Is it worthwhile for us to exchange with the Australian Chemist and Druggist in which you have described so many new species? and what is its address? We receive many of your works, if I remember correctly, through the Melbourne Public Library. Do we also have to send the Notizblatt there and under what address?
