From Ferdinand von Mueller to the Australasian   20 Mar 1896

["A. B. Reid " (Camperdown1).—The small plant you send is identified by Baron von Mueller as the Cotula reptans. It occurs in black, humid soils in the southern regions of Victoria, and rarely extends into South Australia and New South Wales, but is found in Tasmania. This minute herb belongs to a tribe not known to possess any valuable properties; neither is it harmful in any way].
