["D.B.D." (Balranald1).-Baron von Muller has identified your grasses as the following :—1, Elusine crucata;2 2, Trogus3 racemosus; 3, Eragrostis falcata; 4, a species of Panicum in a very early stage of flowering ; 5, an Eragrostis, which, to name precisely, would require ripe seeds. With the exception of No. 2, the seeds of which are apt to cling to fleeces and hides, these are all nutritive and easily-digested grasses, holding out till late in the autumn.]
