of the Section Leucopogon. I think, you kindly sent ripe fruiting specimens before. I will search for them, and work then this species out from complete material.

Number not used for Hussey specimen at MEL.
There are four specimens at MEL with the record number 232, all identified as Styphelia exarrhena, one without date, the others date 1894, 1895 and 1896; none is described as having fruit.
Number not used for Hussey specimen at MEL.
An annotation dated 4 June 1896 on M to J. Agardh, 28 April 1896, indicates that algae from Hussey and Nellie Davey had arrived in Lund. M delivered his address, to which Brassey, the Governor, responded, on 21 May 1896 (Argus, 21 May 1896, p. 7).
Item is a typescript, transcriber unknown, prepared ca. 1977 from an original MS in the State Library of South Australia, Adelaide.
There is insufficient data to use the specimens discussed to date the letter. However, the information in the final paragraph indicates that the letter was written after 21 May, and it is therefore dated to May 1896 as the earliest that it could have been written.
