From Ferdinand von Mueller to Alphonse Milne-Edwards   7 July 1896

7/7/96.

Am delighted, dear Professor Milne-Edwards, that the two cases lately arrived safely,1 and that you and your honored Colleagues were pleased with the contents. By this weeks post I sent you some rare eggs of Birds from N. E. Australia. The names-list is herewith enclosed2 I will endeavour to send an other case soon by the Messageries maritimes, but cannot as yet say exactly, when it will be ready. In that case will probably also be contained some volumes of my works for the Library of the "Institut"

Always with regardfulness your

Ferd von Mueller
