From Ferdinand von Mueller to William Thiselton-Dyer   4 Aug 1896

4/8/96.

Herewith, dear Dr Dyer, I beg to send you part of a short string of seeds of Musa calosperma, which was part of a necklass, sent to me recently by Sir William Macgregor.1 I hope to obtain through him some more material for working out more extensively the characteristics of the two Papuan indigenous Musas.

Always regardfully your

Ferd. Von Mueller

Musa calosperma
