From Ferdinand von Mueller to Alphonse Milne-Edwards   12 Sep 1896

12/9/96

The case, which could not be sent last month,1 dear Prof Milne-Edwards, is now despatched by the monthly French mailsteamer, which just left. It contains two specimens also of very rich silver-ore from Broken Hill near the Barrier-Range in the western part of New South Wales. Kindly write me some few lines, when the case arrives, whether the contents are all right.

Very regardfully your

Ferd von Mueller
