Dear Miss King,
I feel still very poorly so this letter is again by dictation.2 The Boronia kindly sent by you from the Hawkesbury River3 is the true B. floribunda so your specimens are very valuable and are fixing the locality for certain; you will easily recognise the species in contrast to B. pinnata. I send sketches of the flowers of both4 so you will easily understand to discriminate these plants and find out more localities for it, it seems restricted to your region.
I have it already in the second census,5 but willl bring it before the next meeting of the Linnean Society of N.S.W.6 Could you kindly learn from Mr Fletcher its Secretary at Elizabeth Bay when the next meeting will be held. It would be best to bring at once this plant forward instead of waiting to obtain also ripe fruit for which I must look to your kindness hereafter.
With regardful remembrance
from your
