To Georgina King   30 September 1896

31/9/961

Copy of dictated letter again. 2

Dear Miss King,

I have sent notes of B. floribunda to Mr Fletcher trusting they were in time for this evenings meeting at the Linnean Society.3 When you have furnished the ripe fruit the distinctive notes can be augmented from fructed specimens. I hope no delay will arise in making known what has already been ascertained of the true characteristics of the flowers by yourself. Mr Fletcher will excuse on account of illness that I did not augment more notes already.

Always with regardful remembrance

your

Ferd. von Mueller4

P.S. It does not seem that B. floribunda grows outside N.S.W.
