Sir,

I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated 3rd Instant,1 requesting to be informed whether the Committee of Management of the Botanic Gardens, are willing to transfer to the University the collection of dried plants made by Dr Mueller, and if so upon what terms, and when they can be delivered.

In reply I have to inform you that most of the Plants collected by Dr Mueller are in duplicate and that a specimen of every one will be handed over to the University as soon as they separated.
