Parkstone, Dorset
June 3rd 1893
My dear Fanny,
My last Ex[aminatio]n meeting is on Tuesday, and I must be in London on Thursday to be admitted a fellow of the R.[oyal] S.[ociety], so it will not be worth while to go back and come again. I will therefore stay with you on Tuesday & Wednesday night (& perhaps on Thursday) if convenient. If you will have a strong packing case from one of your tradesmen I will see to packing the pictures and what other things here are for Annie, & send them [2] by Goods Train. That is by far the best way. I have asked G.[eorge] Silk to come to supper on Tuesday evening, & I will send you some provisions on Monday so you need get nothing special. We have put an Advertisement in the "Times" about letting our house so that we may have a holiday. I shall spend Wednesday at Kew.
