Dear Sir,
I am taking the liberty of sending you two copies of my "Epochs of Civilization." For some of the views expressed in it I am indebted to you, as you will see from the quotations I have made from your work. [2] I shall feel obliged if you be so kind as to make over one of the two copies I am sending to the editor of some influential Journal who will review it properly and send me a copy of the review. Messrs. Williams and Norgate will at present be agents for the sale of the book in England. Should it be well received, I am thinking of [3] bringing out an edition in England.
Yours truly | P.N. Bose [signature]
