Dr. Alfred Russel Wallace

Dear Sir

I take the liberty to address you because I admire your views on spiritual matters and your courage in advancing them.

I had the pleasure of reading your book "Modern Miracles"1,2 seven years ago and there found the enlightenment I sought in vain elsewhere and as a reader of the Melbourne occult paper "Harbinger of Light" I see you are continually referred to with respect[.] Therefore I have called my youngest and fourteenth

child Alfred Russel English born on April 9 1910 out of regard for you and would esteem a brief acknowledgement of this letter in your own handwriting.

I am Dear Sir | Yours very sincerely | John T English3 [signature]
