Mr Murial1 & I heard that you & Mrs Wallace2 have completed your transmigration [one illeg. word] & with warm regards I remain

P.S. The day after I called on you I rec[eive]d a letter from Mr Guppy3 who is very anxious about you looking over his proof— On his request I called to stir up the publisher — it appears that in a few days the first 50 pages will be struck off—
