My dear Olive & Bertie,
Many thanks for Grant Allen's Poems. I am delighted to have them. I hope you read "Sunday at Braemar"
It is almost the most exquisitely harmonious poem I know, and every line and word instinct with descriptive power or human emotion.
"In Magdalen Tower" is a complete essay on Philosophy vividly expounded in perfect rhyme & rhythm.
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace.
