My dear Olive1 & Bertie,2

Many thanks for Grant Allen's3 Poems. I am delighted to have them. I hope you read "Sunday at Braemar"4

It is almost the most exquisitely harmonious poem I know, and every line and word instinct with descriptive power or human emotion.

"In Magdalen Tower"5is a complete essay on Philosophy vividly expounded in perfect rhyme & rhythm.
