My dear Professor Wallace
The curator of our Botanical Gardens has sent me the enclosed with a parcel which I am forwarding today, it has to be declared for its customs so I put it down at a nominal of but it was presented and of course I know nothing of what it is worth. I hope you will find some good species, and if you want more no doubt a line of appreciation to the care, and a request for what you want would get some, or I would ask again.
