The Editor of the Humanitarian3 presents her compliments to Dr. Wallace and wishes to know whether he would care to have the block from which his portrait was taken for the Feb. number of the Humanitarian when he was so kind as to allow her to publish his views on "Heredity and pre-natal influences".

This is printed on the original document in brown/orange ink in fancy lettering. It should also be noted that there is a printed star to the left of this address in the same ink; it is a six-pointed star with the letters I, S, T, E, M, and K in each corner of the star (starting from the top point and reading clock-wise) and the letters N, H, and K in the middle of the star (starting at the top and reading clock-wise).
This is likely Victoria Woodhull, lived 1838 — 1927
