Dear Miss Macdonald.
I have long known (generally) that Lincoln1 was a Spiritualist, but there has recently been published in America a book, by the lady who, when a young girl, was the medium through whom Lincoln obtained the messages referred to in your cutting.2
There is a rather full [2] notice of this book in "Light" of February 20th. & 27th & not yet finished.
Very busy!
Yours truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
