I regret that I am quite unable to undertake one of the Evening Addresses at the Brit. Assn., —, as I am behindhand with the Address I have to preface as President of Sect. D.
Having had very little experience in lecturing, it is quite impossible for me to extemporise an Address, and I have nothing suitable in preparation.
