Mrs. Alice K. Wynne

Dear Madam,

My book on Miracles & Modern Spiritualism gives my views & facts on the subject of Spiritualism. If you to see that all the communications are not common place, you should read "Spirit Teachings" by Stainton Moses.1 Both these books can be had from the office of "Light"— 110, St. Martin’s Lane, London. W.C.

When you have read these [2] you will see that it is quite natural that most of the communications should be of a commonplace or trivial character.

Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]

William Stainton Moses (1839-1892). Clergyman and Spiritualist. He helped found both the Society for Psychical Research and the London Spiritualist Alliance and edited the Spiritualist periodical Light. In 1883 he published Spirit Teachings, one of his several publications on the topic.
