Dr. Van Eeden

Dear Sir

My friend Mr. Myers1 tells me you wish to call upon me. I shall be very glad to see you but it is a very long way to come for a visit. Any day from Tuesday will suit me, and it would perhaps be best for you to come by the 9.30 am. Train from Waterloo reaching here at 1pm. when we will give you some lunch, & you will be able to return [2] in the afternoon. But if you intend to stay a night at Bournemouth there is a very good train at 2.15 pm. reaching here at 5.8.

Please let me know the day and hour of your intended journey. My little house is quite close to the Parkstone Station.

Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
