Frith Hill, Godalming
Feby. 16th. 1883.
Dear Dr. Norris1
I delayed replying to your kind note earlier in case I shd. hear if any arrangements had been made for me to lecture on L. Nationalisation in Birmingham. As I may not hear till the last moment I write to say that I propose coming by the train reaching B. at 3.35 pm & shall want to go at once to the Lecture Hall to hang up my Map & diagrams [2] and have written to the Secretary accordingly.
Mr. Dominick Daly,2 a barrister of Newall Chambers has been written to about my lecture & either he or Mr. T. F. Walker3 of 58 Oxford St. could inform you if arrangements have been made for Tuesday evening.
As my lecture on Monday is early, perhaps Dr. Saundby4 would come & have a talk on L. N. afterwards, or I could meet him on Tuesday afternoon.
[3]yours very faithfully | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
