9. St. Mark’s Crescent
Regent’s Park, N.W
April 11th.
My dear Sir
I am glad to hear you are coming to town, & shall be glad to do what I can for you, — but I have at present no means of seeing good manifestations myself, & have never yet seen, what I desire to see as much as you do, formation of hands &c. in a private house. I do not know Home1 but [2] hope soon to have an opportunity of meeting him. I find the voice one of the most remarkable & interesting manifestations, & that can be heard both at Mrs. Marshalls2 [sic] and at some private circles.
I hope you have at length overcome the [3] painful influence to which you were liable when I saw you.
The "Dialectical" Society3 are now investigating the facts of Spiritualism & have obtained some curious results.
Believe me | Yours very faithfully | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
