Dear Mrs. Dresser
My daughter is coming with me to London & will stay with a friend not very far from you. We have decided to come by an earlier train which reaches Vauxhall about 4.40 — whence we shall have a cab, & reach you a little after 5, which will give me a good rest. It will not be at all necessary therefore for Mr. Dresser1 to meet us.
Yours very truly | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]
