Many thanks for your interesting volume on the Andaman Islanders which has been handed [to] me[?] by my friend Mr. Voysey3[?].

It seems to me to be a very complete and valuable monograph on the subject, & is especially useful as correcting some of the gross misstatements at first put forth respecting these interesting people.
