My dear Will1

Nine p.m. Your card just arrived. You should allow more time, if you want them to reach London before Sunday. Glad you are all right. I have just been writing an article on (& against) Re-incarnation2 — for the ‘Xmas number of the London mag. 1500 words — offered me a big fee. Now shall go on with my Auto. again. A gentlemen at Bournemouth has just sent me a number of the Westminster [2] Review for August with an article by him "Is Vaccination a Disastrous Delusion". It is the clearest I have ever read, clear, forcible, and satirical — quite pleasant reading. — & no figures! If you can get the W. R. [Westminster Review] read it. It is really interesting.

Excuse more as I am rather tired.

Your affectionate Pa | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]

[3] P.S.

We had an American interviewer3 here yesterday by Appointment for a lot of American newspapers — a rather pleasant young man, to whom I gave a few wrinkles. He took 3 or 4 photos. of me. The view from the Drawing room window (after coming in the back way in the wet) rather took him aback — "Never saw "any thing like it in America — "Just like a scene in a Theatre!" was his remark.
