Dear Sir

In accordance with your communication of the 8th.2 Inst. I beg to send over leaf a statement of expenses in copying Dr. Spruce's3 Letters & Journals up to date. The "Journals" have been copied by members of my own and Mrs Slater's family, at less cost than if a regular copyist had been employed. If any further particulars are required I shall be glad to send them; but if these are sufficient I shall be glad to receive the £.10 kindly contributed by the Royal Society.
