Dear Sir.

I believe I forgot to thank you for the sterna2 which are very interesting & having the affinity of Paradisea they will[,] if you have no objection[,] be figured in the supplement to my osteologia3. Tripsurus auritus was described in vol 1 p150 annals of Natural history4.

It is figured and described [2] also in Malherbe[']s5 Picidee6 p[ar]t[?] 35. vol 3 and vol 1 p150 If you happen to come across this part of the world or would like to come down here on a visit I shall be happy to see you. I have not the specimen I described but I believe I know where it is[.]
