My dear Sir,
I shall send you by post tonight a paper on the Distribution of Lepidoptera in Great Britain and Ireland2 sent to me by Mr Dunning3 who requested me to forward it to you when I have looked it over — of course you have seen it before.
Mr Dunning wishes to know whether we think it sufficiently valuable and interesting to be published at the expense of the Entomological Society. I think this is rather a difficult question to answer and before giving any opinion on the subject I should like to know what you think of it.
With kind regards and best wishes I am | my dear Sir | Yours very sincerely | Henry Doubleday [signature]
