Dear Sir
Your letter overtook me at Coler[?]. If there is any opportunity it will give me great pleasure to obtain seeds of Bolivian Alpine plants for you. It will be of great interest to myself to search for these, as I am very fond of alpine plants.
We have no botanist, but I have a fair knowledge of the floras of the United States and of Britain, & could recognise many of the genera.
I think there will be no opportunity on the outward Crossing, at best we would be beyond the reach of mails then, but on the return next May or June there might be a chance[.]
Thanking you for your good wishes | Yours faithfully | James Murray [signature]
