I had the pleasure of being at your house some 8 years ago, when on a visit to England, being now again in London I should be very glad to see You not only on my own account but also for my friends M[ss]rs Drs[?] Fleroff3 & Wagner4 of S Petersburg. —

I am now settled in Moscow as a Profess. of Geology of the University, and came over [2] to see some of my old friends and buy some collections for our Nurserry [sic]
