Dear Sir!

I had the pleasure of being at Your house some 8 years ago,3 when on a visit to England, being now again in London I should be very glad to see You not only on my own account but also for my friends Msr [illeg.] Fleroff4 & Wagner5 of S Petersburg. —

I am now settled in Moscow as a Profess. of Geology at the University, and came over [2] to see some of my old friends and buy some collections for our Museums[.]
