My dear Will

I am glad your voyage was fairly satisfactory. You say not a word of Mac. Was he nice not with you & was he sick? You can ask Weston to come when you like. I hope you have sent off all your heavy goods by the Poole Steamer. I do not think you need necessarily but anything special with the Sharpes present unless you really want some one thing that it will buy. Is there not any instrument or fine tool that you really want. If not I would [2] keep it to buy something in America. That will be just as well.

When you go to the College give Meldola1 a call as I am sure he will like to see you before you go.

Would you not like to go to the St. of Commons some night to see our great ! Legislators? I dare say Mr. Hayward2 knows alo lot of Mr. P.’s who can give you an order.

I enclose 2 cards to Members of L.N. Society. Ask for them in the Lobby & if they have not given them away they will give you one each.

No more time as post closes.

Your affectionate Pa | Alfred R. Wallace [signature]

[3] P.S. Give my kind remembrances to the Haywards.
