23 The Boltons
W. Brompton
2 March 1870.
My dear Wallace.
I am very anxious to have a chat with you about the Solomon Islands. My book1 on the Seychelles is nearly ready for the printers, & I have some thoughts of going off early next year to the Solomons, getting 2 or 3 years leave of absence. I will be here for a fortnight chiefly working at the B[ritish]. M[useum].
