Such a very handsome present as your work on the geographical distribution of Animals is really more than I could have expected, but I assure you that there is no one who will appreciate it and enjoy it more than I shall.

[2] It has only just come but I see already that its personal will be a pleasure of no common kind, & that it will always remain an inexhaustible mine of reference.
