My dear Wallace
I am extremely obliged for the to you for the copy of your most valuable and interesting book which I received a few days ago.
I was not aware it was so near publication and had long felt the need for the information it gives.
I shall take advantage of its existence to modify in same measure my Physical Geography books and I think it mist be a standard authority very soon as there is so [2] far as I know no account of the subject it treats of in any language.
Always yours truly | D. T. Ansted [signature]1
