Dear Wallace
I must apologize for leaving your letter so long unanswered but the truth is it was put aside and forgotten. I find that part 50 of 13 of Europe was sent by rail & signed for, and has never been returned, but parts 61/62 of your set are here put aside. You will I hope find 50 somewhere and I will send 61/62 [2] whenever you wish.
I am now settled down here altogether, having taken altered & furnished this house, and have a portion of my collections down here, for I work only two evenings per week at [1 word illeg.] Street.
Will you come over & see me here — say some Saturday afternoon & my wife & myself will be very glad to see you. We generally have some bird-men down the first Saturday in the month, & have [1 word illeg.] at 6. Can you come then?
Yours truly | H. E. Dresser [signature]
