Dear Dr Wallace,
I have viewed your book and we will place it in the library. I have not yet had a chance to read it, but I hope to soon. I am glad to see you picture in it.
We have had a [1 word illeg.] winter and a long summer lasting two weeks longer than usual. Professor [1 word illeg.] is just back from H[1 word illeg.], where he has been successful in getting a record of the [2 words illeg.] on the central[?] stages [2]2of the alligators eggs. He found [3 words illeg.] the eggs had [3 words illeg.] on the way home [1 word illeg.] several stages were just beyond [1 word illeg.] recovery.
I have found in our [2 words illeg.] you were [1 word illeg.] of [2 words illeg.] continuum which found pure white Gy[2 words illeg. Latin name?]
