Dear Sir

In reply to your note concerning Cape Heaths I may say that you will probably have a difficulty in getting any but "marker" sorts now, but you might try mess. Cutbush[?] of Highgate, Williams of Holloway or Low of Clapton — they still [2] have a good collection of species at Kew and if you were to put yourself into communication with Prof MacOwan2 of the Cape Town Botanic Garden you would probably get seeds — there are many Cape plants as you know besides Heaths that would be likely to do well in your locality
