2) Burchell1. I will inquire of Waterhouse2 & Kirby3. I have no doubt that Jordan4 is right that that strip of Coast is very good.

I wrote to Kaye5 who lets me know[?] that he cannot afford to buy the moths. Janson6 he said wanted £10 for them: so it must be other things featherly[?] which have raised the sum to a higher level.

[2]7 I especially want, as F. Birch8 knows, the mimetic[?] group capt.[ured][?] on one day if possible or if not in [the] same place. and I am especially glad of all Orders[?]. I do not buy[?] [1 word illeg.] to add to the systematic series, & must hope thus to fund[?] the £10 I lent FB. viz9. on mimicry, Prof[essor].[?] [1 word illeg].

I am very glad indeed to hear that he is doing well & [3] realises the necessity of collecting at any rate until he has got a saved saved a margin[?]. Then of course he could try his hand at writing. With kind regards
