My dear Sir

By to day’s mail I send you copies of the Rel. Phil. Journal of the 3 and 10^th insts containing an interesting account of a case of protracted spirit control. Col Bundy¹ of that Journal writes me that he is well acquainted with the narrator and can vouch for both his intelligence and veracity and the account to me bears the earmarks of truthfulness. It is needless for me to draw the inferences as you are better qualified than myself to do this. I only hope [2] it may interest you as it does myself. Does it ^not throw light upon the question of the origin of the doctrine of reincarnation?
