My Dear Sir

I have just r[e]c[eived]d a note from Mrs Winnards'[?] saying she will be having tea with me this evening for a quiet seance [word illeg. crossed-out]. Will you & Mrs Wallace join at 7-30 — no dressing — quite only a few friends. If this sh[oul]d reach [2] you too late for the tea at 7-30 look in at my home before before 10.
