Dear Mr Wallace

Thankyou for your letter, — kind and encouraging as usual

You touch on one matter with much interest re :— Mr Hockley’s1 notes on crystals. Can you find out where these MSS are? I could never learn anyt[hing] about his crystals or his MSS. He is certainly[?] dead.

I am now analysing Stainton-Moses’2 MSS [manuscripts] and hope to bring out the evidential value of his physical phenomena more fully than he himself did. The means[?] are most interesting.

Thankyou much for Mivart’s3 letter, which I have sent on to my brother Dr. A. T. Myers4, 2 Manchester Square, W, who with return it to you. He is already analysing the Lourdes evidence.

I have had some very good raps lately in private circles ;— & I suppose that raps are physical phenomena! As for myself, I have always thought Moses’ physical phenomena extremely strong.

Your most kind |F. W. H Myers5 [signature]
